IPFoxy Rotating Proxy Sub-account Function Guide

1. Overview

IPFoxy rotating proxy supports the creation of sub-accounts. After purchasing traffic, users can allocate traffic to sub-accounts, and support real-time monitoring of traffic usage, enabling/disabling accounts, resetting passwords, and other operations.

This feature is suitable for team management and internal users, effectively avoiding traffic waste and ensuring that resources are used by dedicated people.

 

2. Function Guide

1. How to create a new sub-account？

After purchasing a dynamic proxy traffic package, go to 【Rotating Account】Page in the left column and click the 【Create new Sub-Account】button in the account list.

The new sub-account pop-up window supports three operations

• Reset sub-account password
• Allocate available traffic : You can choose the established allocation amount and usage duration or customize it. （Indefinite: means that the sub-account can be used indefinitely if the package status of the main user is normal）
• Add a note

 

2. How to manage sub-accounts？

In the main account management list, you can manage sub-account statuses, monitor remaining traffic in real-time, reset sub-account passwords, and allocate available traffic limits to sub-accounts.

(1) Closing a sub-account

When you want to suspend the traffic usage permission of a sub-account, you can change the sub-account status from open to closed;

(2) Reset the sub-account password

If you need to reset the sub-account password or add an IP whitelist, you can click 【View credentials】to do so;

Note: If IP whitelisting is enabled, it will work on all accounts by default, not to a single sub-account.

(3) Allocate traffic to sub-accounts

When the remaining traffic of the sub-account is insufficient, you can click the icon to redistribute it;

(4) Query sub-account traffic usage and allocation details

Supports filtering sub-accounts to query usage details and allocation details, supports filtering by "hour" or "days" as a dimension, and supports Excel export;

3. Extraction of rotating routes from sub-accounts

If you need to extract the sub-account routes connection information, click【Extract proxy】in the operation bar to jump to the Extract rotating routes page while automatically selecting the account;

After selecting the proxy line parameters , select 【Account and Password】as the extraction method to obtain the proxy connection information below.

 

3. Q&A

Q: Can the traffic allocated to a sub-account be revoked?

A: No, the allocation operation is irreversible.

Q: Is the IP whitelist set for all accounts?

A: Yes, currently only whitelist IPs can be set uniformly for all accounts.

Q: If the traffic expiration date of one of my sub-accounts is later than the expiration date of the dynamic package of the main account, can the sub-account still be used?

A: You cannot continue to use it. When the main account has no valid triffic, the sub-account proxy is unavailable. When the main account package expires, all sub-account available quotas and current quotas will be cleared. Please pay attention to the package expiration date and renew in time.

A: 20.

Q：When the traffic of the main account expires, is the remaining traffic of the sub-account still available?

A: After the expiration of the main account, the traffic of the sub-account will be unavailable. In order to ensure that your sub-account can use the traffic normally, please pay attention to the expiration time of the main account and renew the fee in time.
