IPFoxy rotating residential proxy supports configuration of [Security Settings]. This function can be used to reset the rotating proxy password and set up an IP whitelist to prevent rotating proxy traffic from being occupied and abused by others, ensuring the security and privacy of the proxy.
1. Functional Guide
Rotating residential proxy management page - connection information box - click the [Security Settings] button
In the security policy pop-up window, you can ① reset your password, ② enable the trusted IP whitelist
2. Reset password function
Click the "Reset" button in the security settings pop-up window, and then click "Confirm" and the system will randomly generate a new rotating proxy password.
3. IP whitelist function
The IP whitelist function can be enabled in the security settings pop-up window. After turning on this function, you can fill in the trusted IP address in the edit box below. Click "Add" and the configuration will take effect in 3-5 minutes. After configuring the IP whitelist and turning it on, only the configured IP is allowed to use the rotating proxy account.
Notice:
- If you want to enable the whitelist, you need to configure your own IP, otherwise your use will be restricted.
- Enter up to 20 IP addresses, and separate each IP with an comma “,”.
Note: If the security policy setting fails, you can try to refresh the page and try again or contact the online customer service in the lower right corner of the official website to resolve the issue.
